Day 1: Arrive in Wuyishan – Tianyou Peak Hiking
Arrive in Wuyishan by flight or train in the morning. Meet your private tour guide and transfer to your hotel. After some time to rest, start your Wuyishan tour in the afternoon with a hike up Tianyou Peak, one of the most famous viewpoints in the Wuyi Mountains.
The hike takes approximately 2–3 hours along mountain trails, with some steps and slopes along the way. From the summit and viewpoints, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, forests and the winding Nine-Bend River below. The combination of dramatic mountains and clear rivers makes Tianyou Peak an excellent introduction to the natural beauty of Wuyishan.
After the hike, return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in Wuyishan.

Day 2: Nine-Bend River Bamboo Rafting – Dahongpao Tea Culture – Wuyi Palace
This morning, enjoy a relaxing bamboo rafting trip on the Nine-Bend River, one of the highlights of a Wuyishan tour. Sitting on a traditional bamboo raft, you will drift quietly along the river while admiring the distinctive Danxia-like cliffs, forested mountains and peaceful waterways. The scenery is often described as resembling a traditional Chinese landscape painting.
In the afternoon, visit the Dahongpao Scenic Area, famous for the legendary Dahongpao tea and its historic tea-growing traditions. Walk through the tea gardens and learn about Wuyi Rock Tea, its production process and the important role tea has played in the local culture.
Continue to Wuyi Palace, a historic site associated with the development of Wuyishan’s cultural and religious traditions. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll along Song Dynasty Street, where traditional-style buildings and shops provide a glimpse into the area’s historical atmosphere.

Day 3: Huxiaoyan Rock – Wuyishan Departure
After breakfast, continue exploring the natural scenery of Wuyishan with a visit to Huxiaoyan Rock (Tiger Roaring Rock). Follow the mountain trails through dramatic rock formations and enjoy views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
After the visit, your guide will transfer you to Wuyishan Airport or Wuyishan Railway Station for your onward journey. Your 3-day Wuyishan tour ends here.
