Longhu Mountain
Located in the south of Long’an County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Longhu Mountain Natural Reserve (Dragon-Tiger Mountain) is a beautiful natural attraction about 35 kilometers from Long’an County and 80 kilometers from Nanning. Known for its unique karst landscapes and rich biodiversity, the reserve is an ideal destination for nature lovers and travelers seeking outdoor experiences near Nanning.
The natural reserve was first established in 1980 and was officially recognized in 1987 as a natural reserve and scenic area of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The main conservation targets are rare medicinal plants and the distinctive karst mountain scenery formed through millions of years of geological evolution.
The scenic area currently open to visitors includes several attractions, such as a fascinating limestone cave, a spectacular stone forest, and a dedicated area where visitors can observe and feed monkeys in a natural environment. The combination of unusual rock formations, lush vegetation, and wildlife creates a unique ecological landscape.
More scenic areas and facilities are expected to open in the future, offering visitors more opportunities to explore the natural beauty and biodiversity of Longhu Mountain Natural Reserve in Guangxi.
