D1 Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing today, transfer to hotel. Chongqing is
one of the largest metropolis in Southwest China. You can free to explore the city yourself accordingly, such as Liziba Metro Station, Chaotianmen Dock, Hongyadong Cave, etc.
D2 Chongqing / Wulong 195Km, Driving 3 hrs
In the morning head to Wulong National GEO Park in 3 hours’ driving.
In the afternoon you will visit the Furong Karst cave at first. It is said the Wulong Karst Cave is the only Karst cave enlisted in the world natural heritage. Explore the very beautiful Karst Cave in the aternoon. And drive to Xiannv town in the late afternoon for the night.
D3 Wulong / Fengdu 92 Kms 2hrs Driving
Your Wulong tour today will begin from the Tianshen Three Bridge huge Sink Hole. It is a huge sink hole under the ground as large as a soccer field . And you will walk down to the bottom, and then exit from the beautiful valley.
In the afternoon your guide will take you to the Great Crack of the earth. It might be caused by some earthquake, or some geological movement. It is about 1000 meters deep under the earth, and 2 kilometers in length .
In the late afternoon you will continue to drive to Fengdu county in about 2 hours’ driving. And explore the mysterious county along the Yangtze river yourself in the evening.
D4 Fengdu - Yunyang 212km Driving 2.5 hrs
In the morning you will head to Ghost Town, which is said to be the hell on the earth in Chinese myth, but don’t be afraid, it is just an historical culture site. And then you will head to Yunyang county in 2.5 hours’ driving.
In the afternoon you will drop a tour in Zhangfei Temple. which is just located at the bank of wide Yangtze river, and it is also a good place to view Yangtze river as well as commemorate the famous general Zhangfei in the period.
D5 Yunyang / Fengjie / Wushan 135km Driving 2 hrs
In the morning you will head to Fengjie in 1 hour’s driving. Firstly you will visit the ancient White Emperor Town, drop a visit in this famous cultural site. And you can also enjoy the Kuimen in Qutang Gorge, which is said to be the gate of three Gorges.
In the afternoon you will head to the Summit of Three Gorge, where is just at the top of mountain, looking down from the glass trails and you can enjoy the wide view of Yangtze river valley and gorges. And you will also take a boat to make 1 hour’s Yangtze cruise in Qutang Gorge.
In the late afternoon you will head to Wushan county in about 1 hour’s driving. Night in Wushan.
D6 Wushan / Chongqing
In the morning you will go to the Yangtze River wharf and take a boat to the Little Three Gorges. In the cruise boat you can enjoy the various beautiful shaped peaks
and rocks, flow spring waterfalls, hanging coffin ancient cave and the remains of the ancient plank road, sometime you can even heard ape looming. And then you will go up the Willow Reception center in the mountain, and then exchange to the local electric car to enter the Shannu Tianlu scenic spot on the high mountain. You will hike on the plank road in the scenic area, along the view platforms of Sky lamp, Fairy Yao, Feiyuntai and other viewing platforms, overlooking the Goddess Peak in the over side of Yangtze river. The jade belt like Yangtze River is flowing through the Wu Gorge.
In the late afternoon you will take 2.5 hours’ bullet train back Chongqing city. Transfer to hotel.
D7 Chongqing
