Located 163 kilometers away from Chongqing, the general term of "Dazu Grottoes " refers to all the cliffs and rocks carvings in Dazu County. 75 spots of cliff carvings and grottoes composed of more than 60000 statues and over 100000 Chinese characters of inscriptions and epigraphs are well protected .
The work of Dazu grottoes and carvings began in 650 A.D of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D), and had continued until Ming (1368-1644 A.D) and Qing (1644-1911 A.D) dynasties. It enjoys equal popularity with Dunhuang frescoes and forms the trilogy with Yungang and Longmen Grottoes. In 1999, UNESCO listed Dazu Stone Carvings as a world cultural heritage site.

Your tour in Chongqing can start either from airport, Dock, or hotel. Firstly you will make a tour in Dazu Buddhism rock carving, which is only about 2 hours’ driving from Chongqing. It was a kind of fashion for ancient Chinese people to build the rock carvings based on the Buddhism tales or locals, and Dazu Rock Carving groups are among the best reserved carvings in China. Many of the carving groups were found here, and the most famous are Baodingshan hill group. And there you will enjoy many beautiful and vivid carvings in Baodingshan, and then you will visit the Beishan Hill group. Return Chongqing in the afternoon.
And then you will visit the Liziba Metro Station, where you will enjoy the wonder of metro traveling through the apartment building. And then you will take Metro to the People''s Great Hall, enjoy the mountain city on the metro. And then you will wonder through the beautiful building of the Great Hall, which is a symbolic architecture. It was completed in 1954 to memorize Chinese resistance war and establishment of new government, one of the top 10 classic architectures in 20th century Asia. Send you back hotel in the late afternoon.

Chongqing is mostly known for it’s Yangtze cruise tour and landform .Today your guide in Chongqing will show you its charm. Firstly you will visit Chongqing Stilwell Museum - Flying Tiger Memorial, which was once used as an important lodging place by the KMT government to accommodate VIPs during the war against Fascism. And then you will drop a tour in Hongyadong cave, which is a hot spot on social media now.
And Hot Pot in Chongqing is also well known in China, so this lunch you will challenge this hot and spicy food!
In the afternoon you will go to Chiqikou old town. It got its name from making China wares in the ancient time, and it is also a good place to explore local folklores. And your last tour in Chongqing will be the Eling Park. It is a good scenic location; you can ascend to this high land to have a bird eye view of the mountainous city.
