Your budget Chengdu tour starts in the early morning today. The guide from China Exploration will pick up you at your hotel, and then head for the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center in the suburb by metro or Ulber, just 10 kms north to Chengdu, where you can see the lovely pandas making various funny movement in eating and playing, also it is a good chance to take picture for them. It is free! The most amazing is that you can also hold a panda in your arms to take picture by donating some money to the panda base. And it is also a pleasant experience to walk in the wide garden of bamboo.
After the tour in Giant Panda Garden, and then you will take the subway of No. 3 to the Chunxi Road Street in the center of city, which is the most prosperous shopping street in Chengdu. And here you will also enjoy the famous Sichuan Snack Long Chaoshou as lunch.
In the afternoon, you will take subway to the Kuanxiangzi street, which is a beautiful old style street in Chengdu. You will walk around in the Wide and Narrow Alley in leisure, explore various traditional culture of Sichuan.
After tour in Kuanxiangzi, you will travel through another old street of Qingtailu Road to Qingyanggong temple, also called Green Ram Taosim temple by about 15 minutes’ walking. In Qingyanggong, you will learn about the unique religion of Taoism.
In the late afternoon, your guide will send you back your hotel by Ulber or subway. End.
