The new name of Zhangjiajie City was adopted in 1994, after the National Forest Park in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in order to give it more prominence and after this site had been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. The National Forest Park had been given the name of Zhangjiajie after the name of a small village located within its bounds, and now a popular tourist attraction within the park.

Day 1 : Tianzishan – Yuanjiajie - Hotel(Lunch）
In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. Then you will head for Zhangjiajie national park. After arriving at the Zhangjiajie National Park, you will go up to the top of the Mountain by cablecar. Tianzishan means King mountain in English, because a Tujia minority chief called Xiang Dakun upraised here in Ming dynasty 500 years ago. And Xiang Dakun was honored as a king. So people call this mountain Tianzishan.
And then vist the Sky Garden to explore the wonder of nature.
Then to Yuanjiajie for sightseeing of back garden, Mihun Stage, the First bridge in the world.you will take the Bailong elevator to Yuanjiajie. The height of Bailong Elevator is 326 meters. It only takes 1.58 minutes from the foot of the hill to the top. After that you will return to your hotel
Day 2: Hotel – Tianmenshan(Lunch)
In the morning, you will go to Tianmen Mouantain. In 263, the mountain collapsed and a hole was formed. The height of hole is 131.5 meters, 57 meters wide and 60 meters deep. In the afternoon, your tour guide will send you to airport
