The three days Zhangjiajie tours will take you to visit the Zhangjiajie National Park, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Tianmenshan Hill, all of the wonder of nature will be unfold in front of you.
Day 1: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – Yuanjiajie – Yangjiajie – Tianzi Mountain
Day 1: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – Yuanjiajie – Yangjiajie – Tianzi Mountain
In the morning, head to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, one of the main scenic areas of the UNESCO-listed Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Take the Bailong Sky Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, where you will follow the mountain trails through a spectacular landscape of towering sandstone pillars and deep valleys.
Yuanjiajie is famous for its distinctive rock formations, including the Southern Sky Column, which is often associated with the floating mountains depicted in the movie Avatar.
Continue to Yangjiajie, another scenic area known for its dramatic cliffs, narrow ridges and spectacular sandstone peaks. Enjoy the panoramic views and the impressive formation known as the Natural Great Wall.
In the afternoon, continue to Tianzi Mountain, where numerous viewpoints provide sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. When the weather is favorable, clouds and mist may drift between the mountains, creating an atmospheric landscape.
Descend by cable car and continue to the Ten-Mile Natural Gallery, a beautiful valley surrounded by towering peaks. You can take the sightseeing train one way and walk back along the valley trail, allowing you to enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace.
After the tour, return to your hotel for a rest.
Overnight in Wulingyuan
Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park – Huangshizhai – Golden Whip Stream – Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon
Today, continue exploring the spectacular landscapes of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
In the morning, take a cable car up to Huangshizhai (Yellow Stone Village), one of the park’s classic scenic areas. A local saying goes, “If you have not visited Huangshizhai, you have not truly visited Zhangjiajie.” Walk along the mountain trails and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding sandstone peaks. When conditions are right, the peaks may appear to rise above a sea of mist and clouds.
After descending from Huangshizhai, continue to Golden Whip Stream, a beautiful valley known for its clear stream, lush vegetation and towering sandstone cliffs. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the stream and take in the peaceful natural scenery.
In the afternoon, continue to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where you can experience a different side of the region’s dramatic mountain landscape. The highlight is the spectacular Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, suspended high above the canyon. The transparent walkway provides thrilling views of the valley far below.
After the visit, return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Tianmen Mountain – Departure
In the morning, head to Tianmen Mountain, one of Zhangjiajie’s most iconic attractions. Take the famous Tianmen Mountain Cableway and enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, valleys and winding roads below. On clear days, you may also see clouds and mist surrounding the peaks.
Explore the highlights of Tianmen Mountain, including Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Mountain Temple and Tianmen Mountain Square. You can also challenge yourself with a walk along one of the mountain’s glass skywalks, built along the cliffside and offering dramatic views of the valley below.
In the afternoon, descend the mountain by the mountain escalator and transfer to your hotel, Zhangjiajie Airport or railway station according to your departure schedule.
