Baisha White Sand Lake
Baisha White Sand lake and Baisha Mountain tour Spot is located in Akto County, Kizilsugiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is about 200 kilometers away from the urban area of Kashgar and is just on the only way to the Karaku Lake. It occupied an area of 44 square kilometers.
Baisha Lake is located in the Karakoram Mountains at an altitude of about 3,300 meters. The white sand in the whole area is scattered like white snow. In Legend of the Journey to the West of Monkey king, Baisha lake is just the quicksand river, or Liusha he river. On both sides of the Baisha Lake stands the Gongge nine peaks.
