Chuancai Museum (Sichuan cuisine museum)
With the invitation from Chuançais Museum, all the staff from China exploration came to visit this special museum. Chuançais Museum is located in Pixian ancient town, an important commercial city in southern ancient silk road.
After that, we came to the last place of this trip---The kitchen. We will cook the dinner on our own. With instruction of the Chef. After we changed our cloths, we start to cook. Look our works, it looks awesome doesn’t it?
After we finished our dinner, the Director issue the Chef Certifications to us. That means the end of this trip.
The Sichuan Food Cooking Tours:
1. 6 Days Sichuan Cuisine Learning Tour
After drive around one hour, we arrived there. The Director of Chuançais Museum and the guides have already waiting for us. Since then, we have started our official visit.
In order to make all the visitors can fully enjoy this 3-hour trip in the Museum, guides divided us into two groups, of which are 6 people. There are a certain person follow you and tooks photos for you. And we were given a card, which is like a liscence to allow us taste all the snacks in Chuançais Museum. The guide start to introduce the museum from the Greeting Hall, they will tell you all about the stuff in the hall---the screen, the table, even the brick on the road. When we went out of the hall, there is a person make pancake for tourists, one of my favorite snack. There are salty and sweet two flavor. Then we came to the exhibition hall. There are lots of antique collected by the owner. From the exhibition hall, you can know the evolution of Sichuan cooking culture. From the plates and the bowls, we can know the craftsmanship develops, and it became very delicate from Song Dynasty. There are also some ancient recipes. And all the stuff about cooking culture. After finished in the exhibition hall, we head for the little factory of Pixian Bean Paste.We can make and taste the beancurd jelly. We arrived the little factory. we were asked wear head cover and shoes cover before we get in. Tourists can experience how to make Pixian bean paste. Near the factory are the garden and sheepfold and so on. By the way, the vegetables we eat later are come from the garden.

Then we arrived a temple which worship the God of Kitchen. Almost all area have the tradition to worship God of Kitchen on the lunar 23, Dec. People believes worship the God of Kitchen with food, then he won’t say anything bad to the Jade Emperor, then their life can be smooth next year.
After that, we came to the last place of this trip---The kitchen. We will cook the dinner on our own. With instruction of the Chef. After we changed our cloths, we start to cook. Look our works, it looks awesome doesn’t it?
