New Century Global Center
The newly opened Chengdu New Century Global Center provides a new recreation for people visiting Chengdu. The 176 million square meters of New Century Global Center is boasting the largest single building in the world. The dream-like main building takes ‘ flowing melody” as its designing philosophy, and ‘ ocean ’ as its theme, therefore derived the architecture style of sea gull flying, whale flowing, and sea waving . Closely sitting at inner side of the city-surround Express way, south of Chengdu city, Chengdu Global Center was opened on Sept 1st , 2013. It occupied wide land of 250 acres, and its building reached large size of 500meter in length, 400 meters in width, and 100 meters in height. Chengdu Global Center targed to be the paradise of entertainment, shopping, leisure life and food for people in Chengdu based on its multifuntions in hotel, office, shopping malls and more recreation.

The Global Center included Paradise Island Water Park ( 250,000㎡ ), New Century Shopping Mall ( 300,000㎡), Global Center Business City ( 720,000㎡) , Crown Plaza Hotel, InterContinental Chengdu Globlal Center Hotel, and Mediterrean Folklore Town.
And the Modern Arts Center is made up a large theatre containing 2000 people, playhouse containing 1000 people, concert hall containing 1000 people, multifuntional chamber of 8000㎡ , showroom of 12,000 ㎡, modern Art Gallery of 30,000㎡. Mr. Zaha Hadid is its designer.
The Center Square occupied 120 acres, and dream like music springs are its main attractions. It is said 17 style springs are designed in this square.
