D1 Arrive in Beijing

Today we will arrive in Beijing, the ancient capital of China with over thousand years’ history. Receive a welcome from our guide and then transfer to hotel, and you also learn your first Chinese “ Nin Hao ” for greeting.

D2 Beijing City Excursion (The Great Wall / Ming Tomb / Beijing Roast Duck) (B, L, D)

The Great Wall will be our first destination. As Chairman Mao has said: “Walk on the Great Wall, and to be a real man”. You will walk on this ancient stone stage on feet, and trace the ancient history of China through the old wall and mountains. In the afternoon, a visit to the Ming Tomb will be an interesting adventure for you, where you will see how the emperors desired for immortal.
In the evening you will enjoy a delicious Chinese banquet with the well-known Beijing Roast Duck, and you will see how Chinese treat their food as arts.

D3 Beijing City Excursion (The Forbidden City / the Summer Palace/The Heaven Temple) (B, L)

Today you will explore the mysterious palace of Chinese emperors, the Forbidden City, which boasts having 9999rooms and could be the largest palace in the world. And a walk in the heart of China, Tiananmen Square is also necessy this morning. 
In the afternoon you will have a leisure walk in the emperors’ royal garden, the Summer Palace, which is a much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. Afterwards you will also walk around in the quiet and wide Heaven Temple, which is used to worship emperor’s ancestors and pray for a harvest season..

In the morning, you will head to the Terra Cotta museum is the most important spot. It will be amazing experience to visit these old warriors and horses under earth for over 2000 years. Then you will visit the Shanxi Province Museum. It will unfold the long history of China from 3000 BC.  And an experience of making warriors yourself will be interesting. 

In the afternoon you will back the city, and then you will learn about the ancient Chinese arts, the Calligraphy in the Calligraphy Forest Museum.  
In the evening you will go to the airport take flight to Dunhuang, which had long been the transportation hub and culture center in the Silk Road. Meet your guide and transfer to hotel.

D6 Dunhuang  (Mogao Cave Visit / Mingshashan Hill / Crescent Lake ) (B, L)

In the morning firstly you will explore the Mogao Caves. They not only show us rich Buddhism stories, but also depicted the folk’s life. The vivid frescoes and sculptures seem to bring you back the prosperous Silk Road 1000 years ago. Then you will relax in the desert hill, Mingshashan. A short time’s Camel riding will bring you exotic experience of caravan. The nature also created the wonder of Lake and desert co-existing, the crescent moon lake is also a beautiful wonder in the desert.
In the evening you can visit the Shazhou night market to explore the romantic memory of Dunhuang. 




D7 Dunhuang / Turpan  ( Gaochang Ruins / Kan’er Well / Grape Gully )  (B,L,D)

In the morning you will take bullet train to another Silk Road town, Turpan. Meet with your tour guide in Turpan.
In the afternoon you will head for the ruins of Jiaohe old town. It is a witness of the prosperity of Silk Road. And you will also visit the magic irrigation project, Kan’er Well. It is compared to the Great Wall under the earth. 

D8 Turpan / Urumqi  (Tuyugou Valley and Village / Xinjiang International Bazzar ) (B,L)

Nature’s power is boundless, so it created Tuyugou Valley, which is also a typical Urgar people village in Turpan. You will experience the extremely hot in this devil like place, and then you will drive to Urumqi, and then visit the Erdaoqiao Xinjiang International Bazzar, which is the largest and crowded Bazzar in Xinjiang.

D9 Urumqi / Kashgar   ( Heaven Lake / Nanshan Farm  ) (B,L)

Nature’s power is boundless, so this morning you will go to Tianci for the wonder of nature, the beautiful Heaven Lake. In the afternoon you will head to the beautiful Nanshan Hill, which will unfold beautiful farm hill in front you. Return Urumqi city in the late afternoon.

Fly to Kashgar in the evening, meet with your tour guide in Kashgar, and transfer to hotel for rest. 

D10 Kashgar City Tour (Big Mosque / Fragrant Concubine Tomb) (B,L)

As the joint of South and North Silk Road, a lot of historical ruins are left here. You can find the mixture of oriental and western culture in many places. In the morning you will enjoy the ceremony of Opening Gate of the Kashgar Old Town, and then you will visit the Aitikaer Mosque which is the largest in oriental world. You will have a lecture about the culture of Muslim here. And then you will enjoy the pretty building of fragrant concubine tomb, or Xiangfei Garden. Here you will also hear the romantic tale of local fragrant girl and Chinese emperor. The rest of time you can explore the huge Kashgar Old Town. 




D11 Departure (B)

Today you will say good bye to Kashgar. You can fly to Beijing , Shanghai, Chengdu, etc. END
