Today we will arrive in Beijing, the ancient capital of China with over thousand years’ history. Receive a welcome from our guide and then transfer to hotel, and you also learn your first Chinese “ Nin Hao ” for greeting.
The Great Wall will be our first destination. As Chairman Mao has said: “Walk on the Great Wall, and to be a real man”. You will walk on this ancient stone stage on feet, and trace the ancient history of China through the old wall and mountains. In the afternoon, a visit to the Ming Tomb will be an interesting adventure for you, where you will see how the emperors desired for immortal.
In the evening you will enjoy a delicious Chinese banquet with the well-known Beijing Roast Duck, and you will see how Chinese treat their food as arts.
Today you will explore the mysterious palace of Chinese emperors, the Forbidden City, which boasts having 9999rooms and could be the largest palace in the world. And a walk in the heart of China, Tiananmen Square is also necessy this morning.
In the afternoon you will have a leisure walk in the emperors’ royal garden, the Summer Palace, which is a much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. Afterwards you will also walk around in the quiet and wide Heaven Temple, which is used to worship emperor’s ancestors and pray for a harvest season..
Arrive in Xi’an at noon, meet with your tour guide in Xi'an. In the afternoon a leisure walking on the Old City Wall will be happy things after the 5 hours' train riding. And then you will head to the Wild Goose Pagoda to learn how the Chinese traveled over ten thousands miles to probe Buddhism. In the evening you will enjoy the extremly prosperous night of Tang Ever Bright Town.
D5 Xi'an / Luoyang (B, L, D )
In the afternoon you will take bullet train to Luoyang city, which is also the ancient city as Xi'an as well as capitals for many dynasties. Meet with your tour guide in Luoyang and then you will head to Guanlin temple, which is to worship Guangong, the god of Marshial.
In the late afternoon you will drop a tour in the old street of Luoyang, where you will retrace the ancient city of Luoyang thousand years ago as well as explore local food here.
Arrive in Huangshan city in the afternoon. Meet with your tour guide in Huangshan, and then you will head to beautiful Xidi village directly. Night in local hotel. Free to explore the beautiful village yourself.
D9 Mt. Huangshan / Hongchun / Shanghai ( Hongchun Village visit ) (B,L)
In the early morning, you can try to catch the magnificent Huangshan Sunrise at one of the east-facing view point near the hotel. Descend the mountain after the breakfast, and then head for Xidi and Hongcun villages for a great local culture experience tour.
About one hour’s driving, you will reach Yixi County where Hongcun village are located. You'll explore in depth the typical architectural style of the local residential houses, including the beautiful wood carving, stone carving, brick carving and bamboo carving which are almost everywhere. Take bullet train to Shanghai in the late afternoon. Transfer to hotel tonight.

The Shanghai Museum will show us the marvelous treasure of oriental Asia. So in the morning you will explore this famous spot. And then you will explore the Lujiazui financial center, where the skyscrapters towering as forest. As the most prosperous city in China, even in Asia , a lot of sky scrapers over 400 meters in height are standing in this area, Shanghai Center, a super tall skyscraper which reaches 632 meters (2074 ft) and became the tallest structure on mainland China, after the Burj Dubai and Taipei 101, and Oriental TV tower， Jinmao Hotel, etc. It is not necessary to ascend these building, taking a local bus to travel around is enough for us.
Then you will explore the old style Yuyuan market and prepare for our leaving. Have a fairwell dinner today.
D12 Shanghai Departure （B）
In the morning you will head to airport , say “ Zai Jian ” to China and leave China with sweet memory .
