D1. Urumqi City Tour
Arrive in Urumqi today, and make some city tours accordingly, such as the Red Hill Park, International B azaar.
 
D2 Urumqi / Burjing / Hemu/ Jiadengyu   157Km,  3 hrs’ driving

Fly to Burging in the morning, and then head to Hemu village in the morning, and then visit the village and mountain all the day. Have a panorama view of the village on the mountain top, enjoy the wooden houses, Hemu River and Silver Birch Tree forest,etc. In the late afternoon continue to Jiadengyu.
 
D3 Jiadengyu / Kanasi / Buerjing / Urumqi     122Km, 2 hrs driving
In the morning head to Kanasi scenic spot, and you will visit the beautiful Kanas lake, and have a panaroma view of the lake at the fishing point. Also you can hike along the lake for a bit as well as enjoy the Silver Birch Tree forest. In the late afternoon back to Buerjing city and then fly to Urumqi.

D4 Urumqi / Kuqa 

Fly to Kaqua in the morning, and Since Kuqa is located in the north edge of Taklamakan desert, you will enjoy a lot of wonders of desert. Firstly you will visit the Kerzil Fresco in the morning, which was started from 3rd century as the earliest fresco in China, even 200 years earlier than the Mogao caves Fresco of Dunhuang . It is amazing to enjoy these vivid paintings on the wall almost 2000 years ago. And you will also drop a tour in the ruin of Beacon Tower, which was built in 3rd century B.C.

In the afternoon you will make a mild hiking in the Kuqa Grand Canyon in the afternoon, where you will explore the wild Danxia desert and gorges of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang. Back to city in the late afternoon.

 

D5 Kuqa / Kashgar   

In the morning you will head to the ruin of Subasi Temple, which was built in the 7th century, and Monk Tang also have stayed here 1000 years ago on his pilgrimage to India. Back city at noon. 

Kuqa was called Qiuchi Kingdom in ancient time 2000 years ago combined multi cultures of Chinese, Indian Buddhism, and Persia. In the afternoon you will visit the palace of Kuqa King , which is rebuilt according to the palace of Qiuci King. And if you are lucky enough, you can even take picture with the their last princess here.  And then you will drop a tour in Kuqa Museum, which will show you the ancient history if Qiuci Kingdom as well as its former prosperity. 

Fly to Kashar in the late afternoon.  And then transfer to hotel. 

 

D6 Kashgar City Tour

In the morning you will get up early to catch the Opening Ceremony of Kashgar Old Town, and then explore the old residency of Gaotai, which is the oldest section of Kashgar with strong middle east sense. The famous movie of The Kite Runner was shot here actually.  

And then the rest of day you will explore the old town of Kashgar, from East town to West town, find anything beautiful and interesting. Also drop a tour in the Aitigar Mosque.

 

D7 Kashgar Departure

In the morning you will head to the Bazzar of cattle, which is the largest market for trading of cows, sheep, etc. And then you will visit the Muslim style garden of Xiangfei Garden which is to commemorate the Fragrant Concubine of Emperor.  In the late afternoon or evening transfer to flight to other cities. End of the tour.
