And our tour in Xi’an continue on the Old City wall in the afternoon. The Old City Wall is located in the central area of Xi'an as one of the only well remained city wall in China. Four main gates of 12 meters high, 18 meters wide at the bottom, top width of 15 meters were left for entrance: Changle Gate (East Gate), Yongning Gate (South Gate), Anding Gate (West Gate), Anyuan Gate (North Gate) .The city wall is one of the most famous buildings from the late medieval city wall.
Our last attraction in Xi’an is the Forest of Steles which is a collection of ancient steles at the first time, the name of the monument up to a treasure trove of culture and arts. It displays a variety of stone form Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty and two thousand pieces epitaphs, the means of the Stele Forest is not only as historic monument, but more importantly, for their writing and calligraphy artistic value.
