D1 Arrive in Chengdu

Upon arrival in Chengdu at noon, your local guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
In the late afternoon, take a relaxing walk through the beautiful Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the former residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. Surrounded by peaceful gardens, bamboo groves, and traditional architecture, this elegant cultural site offers a perfect introduction to Chinese literature and classical garden culture.

D2 Chengdu / Jiuzhaigou / Huanglong National Park

In the morning, take a comfortable bullet train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Airport. Upon arrival, continue your journey to Huanglong National Park, one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Sichuan.
Known as the “Yellow Dragon,” Huanglong is famous for its colorful travertine pools, snow-capped mountains, forests, waterfalls, and pristine landscapes. You will hike gradually toward the scenic area above 3,000 meters in altitude, where the breathtaking views of turquoise pools surrounded by mountains make every step worthwhile.

D3 Huanglong / Jiuzhaigou National Park

D5 Jiuzhaigou / Chengdu / Dujiangyan Irrigation System

In the morning, take the train back to Chengdu. Upon arrival, continue to the famous Dujiangyan Irrigation System, an extraordinary ancient engineering project with more than 2,000 years of history.
Built during the Qin Dynasty, Dujiangyan has controlled the waters of the Minjiang River for centuries and continues to function today. It is considered one of the greatest achievements of ancient Chinese water management and remains a symbol of human wisdom and harmony with nature.
In the evening, enjoy a special Chinese Herbal Medicine Cuisine Banquet, combining traditional Chinese dietary culture with local flavors.
D6 Sanxingdui Museum / Chengdu Panda Base / Sichuan Opera

Today, explore the mysterious Sanxingdui Museum, home to one of China’s most fascinating archaeological discoveries.
Dating back more than 3,000 years, the Sanxingdui civilization created remarkable bronze masks, gold objects, jade artifacts, and pottery. Each unearthed relic reveals the extraordinary artistic achievements and cultural development of the ancient Shu Kingdom.
In the afternoon, visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can observe adorable giant pandas eating bamboo, playing, and relaxing in their natural-style environment.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Sichuan Opera Performance. The famous face-changing show, with its mysterious and colorful mask transformations, will provide an unforgettable cultural experience.
D7 Chengdu / Leshan Giant Buddha / Chengdu

Today, drive approximately 120 kilometers from Chengdu to Leshan Giant Buddha, one of the most impressive Buddhist monuments in China and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
First, take a boat ride on the river to admire the magnificent Buddha from a distance. The giant statue, carved into the cliff overlooking the meeting point of three rivers, creates the breathtaking scene known as “the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain.”
Afterward, walk to the foot of the Giant Buddha and appreciate the incredible scale of this ancient masterpiece up close.
Return to Chengdu in the afternoon and visit a local Silk Factory to learn about traditional silk production. Sichuan embroidery, one of China’s famous embroidery arts, has been admired for centuries along the ancient Silk Road.
In the evening, enjoy a famous Chengdu Sichuan Hot Pot Dinner, experiencing the spicy and flavorful cuisine that Chengdu is world-famous for.
D8 Chengdu Departure

In the morning, visit Wuhou Temple, a famous historical site dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the legendary strategist of the Three Kingdoms period.
Explore the stories of the Three Kingdoms era, learn about ancient Chinese wisdom and military strategies, and discover the deep cultural heritage behind this important historical period.
