D1 Chengdu – Leshan Giant Buddha – Mahjong Experience – Chengdu

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu in the early morning and accompany you to the railway station for bullet train C6301 (08:34–09:54) to Leshan. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you by private vehicle to the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area.
Your visit begins with an opportunity to admire the spectacular landscape around the Leshan Giant Buddha. The surrounding mountains form the shape of a sleeping Buddha, inspiring the famous local saying that “the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is the mountain.”
You will then walk along the winding mountain trails beside the Giant Buddha, following the route from its head and shoulders down toward its legs and feet. Standing at different viewpoints, you can appreciate the impressive scale of this ancient stone statue and enjoy panoramic views of the confluence of the Minjiang River, Dadu River, and Qingyi River.
In the afternoon, leave the sightseeing behind and experience the relaxed lifestyle of Sichuan. You will visit a traditional riverside tea house, where you can sit down with a cup of local tea and enjoy the leisurely atmosphere that is an important part of everyday life in Sichuan.
You will also have the opportunity to experience Mahjong, one of China’s most popular traditional games and a particularly beloved pastime in Sichuan. Mahjong is often played in local tea houses as a way for friends and family to socialize and spend their leisure time. Your guide will introduce you to the basic rules and teach you how to play, making this a fun opportunity to interact with local culture beyond the usual sightseeing experience.
In the late afternoon, your guide will accompany you to Leshan Railway Station for bullet train C6314 (17:51–18:50) back to Chengdu.

2. Guide. An English speaking guide will be provided, who will accompany you from the start of tour to end of tour.
3. The transportation of railway station and hotel between, and Ulber or taxi will be used.
4. Meal. A lunch will be arranged accordingly at local restaurant. During the meal, a glass of soft drink will be provided.
5. The bullet train tickets between Chengdu / Leshan / Chengdu, the train time is subjected to the reservation and need of clients eventually.
6. Service Charge & Government Taxes.
