3 Days Mt. Emeishan Hiking Tour
As the First Buddhism Mountain in China, Mt. Emei is the paradise of Buddhism culture, plants and animals. And Leshan Giant Buddha is the largest Buddhism statue in the world, which has the reputation of Buddha Mountain. It is a good experience to hike in these Buddhism world to explore the Buddhism culture as well as enjoy the beautiful mountain and nature.
China Exploration designed this trip by making full use of the public and convenient transition to cut down the price for the tourist. Hiking will be done mostly in the zigzagging stone stages; you will enjoy the beautiful mountain, naughty monkeys, and temples. The hiking is easy to do, suitable for most of the traveler with normal health condition.

Itinerary:
D1 Chengdu / Mt Emei Hiking (L+D)
(Baoguo Temple – Qingyin Pavillion - Wannian Temple - Xixiangchi Temple)( 11.5km+2km+14km)
Your guide will pick up you at hotel in the early morning and then take bullet train of C6291( 8:43-09:59 ) to Mt. Emeishan. The first attraction is Baoguo Temple, then you will take sightseeing bus to Wuxiangang bus Station, near Qingyin Pavillion, then your hiking starts.
Hiking: Qingyin Pavillion – Wannian Temple – Xixiangchi Temple (2km+14km)Hiking about 7 hour
Night: guesthouse of Xixiangchi temple. Accommendation are flexible, so it will be adjusted by your guide according to your time to Xixiangchi Temple if necessary. If you feel tired, you could get accommendation before arriving Xixiangchi Temple.
D2 Emeishan Hiking/Golden Summit (B+L+D)
(Xixiangchi – Golden Summit-Descend by cable )
Today you will continue your last hiking. Cross the high altitude virgin forest and arrive at the Summit of Mt Emei , Jinding. Here we will enjoy both the huge golden Buddha and cloudy sea. Descend the mountain in the afternoon by lcable car and bus. Your guide will take you the the hotel in Emei City. As optional program, we suggest you enjoy the comfortable spring in the evening to wash away your tiresome.
Hiking: Xixiangchi – Leidongping – Jieyindian – Golden Summit (7.5km+1.5km+6km)Hiking about 6 Hours
Night: Emei Jinrui Garden Hotel (3*or other same star level hotel)
D3 Mt Emei - Leshan - Chengdu (B+L+D)
In the morning you will take bus to Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot. Here the largest Stone Statue of Buddha in the world sits in the turbulent joint of three rivers. You will hike on the zigzagging mountain trails to enjoy the wonder of “Mountain is a sleeping Buddha and Stone Buddha sits in its heart “. The hiking rate is less difficult than your tour in Emei. After hiking, you could choose to take cruise on the river to watch the Buddha on different visual angle. Cruise is an optional program.
At last, take the bullet train of C6270 (17:12-18:15 ) back Chengdu in the late afternoon. END
