In the evening, enjoy one of Chengdu’s most famous culinary experiences — Sichuan Hot Pot.
Your dinner will be arranged at Shujiuxiang Hot Pot, one of Chengdu’s well-known hot pot restaurants. Hot pot is more than just a meal in Sichuan; it represents friendship, family gatherings, and the local way of enjoying life together.

The best part is that you will enjoy your own creations for lunch!
After the cooking experience, visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum to explore the history and culture behind Sichuan cuisine. The museum displays traditional cooking tools, utensils, and exhibits explaining how Sichuan food developed over centuries.
Continue your journey to Leshan, approximately 30 minutes away.
After lunch, visit the magnificent Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone Buddha statue in the world.
Standing at the meeting point of the Minjiang River, Dadu River, and Qingyi River, this 71-meter-high statue represents the famous saying:
“The mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is the mountain.”
Walk along the mountain paths to explore the statue from different angles. Visit Lingyun Temple, the Giant Buddha itself, and the ancient Buddhist sculptures of the 500 Arhats.
After the Leshan visit, return toward Chengdu.
On the way back, stop in Shuangliu County to experience one of Chengdu’s most famous local delicacies — Spicy Rabbit Head.
Although it may look unusual to some visitors, rabbit head is a traditional Sichuan snack loved by many locals. Marinated with Sichuan spices and prepared with a rich spicy flavor, it represents the adventurous side of Chengdu cuisine.

Continue to Wuhou Shrine Museum, dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the famous strategist and statesman of the Three Kingdoms period.
Through historical exhibitions and traditional architecture, you will learn about Zhuge Liang’s wisdom, loyalty, and important role in Chinese history.
After visiting Wuhou Temple, walk through the nearby Tibetan Culture Street, a unique area where merchants from Tibetan regions sell traditional handicrafts, religious items, clothing, and cultural products.
