Your tour guide will meet you at hotel in the early morning, and then you will take taxi, or bus or subway to get your bike, and then your biking tour start! You will visit one of the vegetable market firstly. Locals like to buy the vegetable in the morning, and the market will be crowded and noisy. Various vegetable and food will be sold in the market. Chinese people like to raise golden fish in their family for which they believe could bring them good luck and fortune, so you will visit one of the bird and flower market.
And you will ride bike to Kuanxiangzi old street via Tianfu Square. The beautiful Tianfu Square is the center of Chengdu, and it is also the few cities still keeping marble statue of Chairman Mao. And then we will ride about 10 minutes to ancient Kuanxiangzi Old Street built about 300 years ago. Although many of western coffee, bars have occupied here, you can still trace the ancient history through the square yard and wooden door. About 1 hour’s visit here. It is also a good place for photographers. And you will have delicious Sichuan Snack here. Snack is the easiest food in Chengdu reminding people of the old and sweat history.
After lunch, we will ride bike to Qingyanggong Green Ram Temple via old style Qingtai Road. The Green Ram Temple is the famous Taoist temple in China, and there you will learn about the philosophy of Laozi 2000 years ago. After the tour of Green Ram Temple, your biking will be continued to Jinli Old Street as well as Tibetan Street close to Wuhou temple. Many Tibetan like to take Chengdu as their residency, and the shops of selling Tibetan ware are full of this Tibetan street. You can buy some souvenir for your friends without going to Tibet! And then you will ride bike to Wangjianglou Bamboo Garden. This garden is famous for the beautiful Bamboo as well as the pagoda, which is the symbol of Chengdu.
Hot Pot of Chengdu is well known in China, hot and spicy, No matter in winter nor in hot summer are the hot pot restaurants full of locals. People believe eating around the round pot means friendship and uniting. At dinner we will take you to a special hot pot restaurant.
After dinner our guide will take you back your hotel, and your Chengdu tour will be finished with sweet memory.
