Hailuogou Ice Glacier Park
Hailuogou Glacier Park is located on the southeast edge of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, on the east slope of Gongga Mountain, at the junction of Luding, Kangding, Jiulong and Shimian County in Ya 'an City of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 906.13 square kilometers, and consists of six scenic spots: Hailuogou, Yanzigou, Mozigou, Nanmen Guangou, Yajiagengand Moxi Terrace. Hailuogou Glacier
Hailuogou Glacier, also known as No.1 Glacier, is the longest of 71 glaciers in Gongga Mountain with a total length of 14.7 kilometers, covering an area of 16 square kilometers, with the highest elevation of 6,750 meters and the lowest elevation of only 2,850 meters. It has three layers along the longitudinal direction, and the cradle of the glacier extends into the primitive forest for 6 kilometers, forming a wonderful landscape where glaciers and forests coexist.

Golden Snow Mountain
Hailuogou Glacier is located at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by 45 guardian peaks with an altitude of more than 6000 meters. The peaks have been covered with snow for thousands of years and their silver light is shining. Whenever the weather is clear, ten thousand golden lights point directly at Guardian Peak from the sky. In an instant, dozens of snow peaks are all covered with a golden dazzling light, which is magnificent and brilliant. This scenery is the famous "Rizhao Jinshan".
The Great Ice Waterfall
The Great Ice Waterfall, with a width of 500-1,100m and a height of 1,080m, is the largest and most spectacular glacier waterfall ever discovered in China. It is more than 10 times larger than the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is magnificent and extraordinary.
Hailuogou Hot Spring
More than 10 hot spring tours have been found in China, with hydrology ranging from 40 degrees Celsius to 90 degrees Celsius. There are all kinds of hot springs (cold, warm, hot and boiling), with excellent quality, large scale and flow, special environment (under the snow peak and in the forest).
Hailuogou Hot Spring is covered with snow, and the steam in the pool of the open-air hot spring is rolling and vacating. The water temperature at the highest spring of Hailuogou Hot Spring reaches more than 90℃, and then it falls down one by one. The most suitable pool water for people to soak varies from 45℃ to 35℃.
Primitive Forest
Hailuogou has a forest area of 70 square kilometers. Walking slowly along the mountain road, visitors will be attracted by the ever-changing plant landscape around them. In the jungle, cute animals such as macaques, pandas, wildebeests and red-bellied pheasants are often faintly visible.
Modern Museum of Marine Glaciers
The east slope of Gongga Mountain is the most concentrated, largest and most accessible low-altitude glacier group in China. There are about 45 glaciers in the region, covering an area of 290 square kilometers, mainly valley glaciers, hanging glaciers and bucket glaciers, with a length of more than 10 kilometers, such as Hailuogou Glacier No.1, Mozigou Glacier No.1, Nanmen Guangou Glacier No.1 and Yanzigou Glacier No.1。
Climate and astronomical wonders
Influenced by the climate of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Hailuogou Glacier produces unique regional climate characteristics that are different from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the basin. The climate in Hailuogou Glacier is obvious, with distinct dry and wet seasons with the climate characteristics of "four seasons like spring". Snow scenes in winter and spring, ice falls, rainbows, sun rain, bright moon and stars are very common in this area.
The annual average temperature is around 15℃. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round, and the average annual temperature is around -9℃. If tourists want to appreciate the unique low-altitude modern glacier (2850 meters above），you must prepare adequately for it.
