Gatuo monastery
Located on the mountaintop of Hepo Village on the eastern bank of the Jinsha River, between Dege County and Baiyu County in western Sichuan, Gatuo Monastery is one of the most important monasteries of the Nyingma (Red Hat) school of Tibetan Buddhism in the Kham region.
