D1 Lanzhou / Tianshui / Maiji Mountain
Your guide will meet you at Lanzhou and take you to Tianshui by train to visit Maiji Mountain, which owns one of the four biggest grottoes in China. It gots its name from its straw-stack shape----Maiji (straw stack). The senic spot occupies 215 square kilometers and is consisted of Maiji Mountain, Immortal Cliff, stone door, Qu Stream and Jieting old town. Especially, Maiji Mountain was added into the World Cultural Heritage List in on June 22, 2014. After the whole day’s travel to Maiji Mountain, your guide will take you to the hotel reserved for you.
D2 Fuxi Temple, folklore museum, back to Lanzhou
In the morning, drive to Fuxi Temple, original called Taihao Palace, local name Renzong Temple (renzong means ancestor of human and fuxi is the ancestor of Chinese in legend). It locates on Fuxi Road, Qinzhou region, Tianshui city, Gansu province, China. It was added into national key cultural relics protection units on June, 25, 2001. The begging of its construction dates back to Ming dynasty in 1483-1484 and was rebuilt for 9 times until Qing dynasty in 1885-1887.
Then, you will be taken to local folklore museum to enjoy local folklore including birthday, wedding, study room, paper-cut, embroidery, etc.
Finally, the guide will send you back to Lanzhou and send you to the airport to take flight home.
