D1 Arrive in Yichang – Three Gorges Tribe – Xiling Gorge
Arrive in Yichang around noon and meet your private guide upon arrival. After lunch, begin your Yichang tour with a visit to Three Gorges Tribe (Sanxia Renjia), a scenic area showcasing the natural beauty and traditional culture of the Three Gorges region.
The scenic area is set along the Yangtze River, surrounded by dramatic mountains, lush forests and traditional villages. Take a relaxing walk through the scenic area and learn about the local culture and traditional lifestyle of the Ba and Tujia peoples, who have a long history in the Three Gorges region.
During the journey, enjoy spectacular views of Xiling Gorge, one of the three major gorges of the Yangtze River. The combination of steep mountain cliffs, winding river channels and green valleys creates some of the most impressive scenery around Yichang.
After the sightseeing, drive back to Yichang in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel.

D2 Yichang – Three Gorges Waterfall – Departure
After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to the Three Gorges Waterfall Scenic Area, a beautiful natural attraction surrounded by mountains and karst landscapes.
Follow the scenic trails through the valley and enjoy views of rugged limestone peaks, lush vegetation, streams and waterfalls. The highlight of the visit is the spectacular Three Gorges Waterfall, where water cascades down the cliffs into the valley below.
One of the most interesting experiences is walking along the trail behind the waterfall, where you can enter the natural cave-like space beneath the falling water and enjoy a unique perspective of the waterfall. Prepare for some water spray and wear comfortable, non-slip shoes.
After the visit, return to Yichang city.
Depending on your onward travel schedule, your guide and driver can transfer you to Yichang Airport or Railway Station for your next destination. Yichang has convenient transportation connections to cities including Wuhan, Chongqing and Zhangjiajie.
