Two days classic tour to Shangri_la in Yunnan.
Shangri-la, also called Zhongdian originally is located between the boarder of Yunnan province and Sichuan province It becomes worlds famous, for British writer James Hilton depicted in his novel "Lost Horizon" that a British diplomat and three of his friends landed in a snow-capped mountain area during a flight from China to India due to lack gasoline, they were rescued by local Tibetan and spent some time in a very beautiful place.
Later, they came back to seek for the plane but failed. The only thing they remembered was the Tibetan word "Shangri_la". Now much evidence has proved that "Shangri-la" is right here in zhongdian.
In the land of Shangri_la, they have diverse recourses of Tibetan culture and plateaus, such as the famous monastery of Songtanlin , Mt Meili snow mountain,three Parallel Rivers. Shangri-la is a paradise for peaceful soul.

Arrive in Shangri_la this morning by train or flight. Receive warm welcome from your tour guide in Shangri_la.
In the afternoon you will explore Songzanlin Monastery, which is called Mini Potala Palace because of its huge scale. You will have a deep knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism.
In the late afternoon you will have a free walk in Dakezong Tibetan old street, where you will explore beautiful Tibetan styale houses and shops. In the evening enjoy the quietness of Shangri_la, a peaceful city surounded by snow mountain.

Morning to Pudacuo National park, which is to show tourist the wonderful lakes and forest on Tibetan plateau. The flower blooming in spring here is another beauty in Pudacuo national park.
