As the First Buddhism Mountain in China, Emeishan Mountain is a world heritage of culture and nature because its history is over 1000 years in Buddhism and rich in botanical resources. It is located in the heart of Southwestern China; within 2 hrs driving from the transportation hub of Chengdu make it easy to do.
In this paradise of Buddhism and animals, devoted Buddhist are burning incense all the year, beautiful and ancient temples are scattered in dense forest, and in this mountain cold brooks jump down from the deep green valleys, monkeys swing in the branch and faded way in the thriving forest, birds sing for their happiness all the season…
China Exploration designed this trip based on years' experience in order to show the traveler essence of Emei Mountain. Hiking will be done mostly in the zigzagging stone stages; you will enjoy the beautiful mountain, naughty monkeys, and temples. The hiking is easy to do, suitable for most of the traveler with normal health condition. And the cost is also cheap.

Itinerary :
D1 Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu, check in the appointed hotel. Night in hotel .
D2 Chengdu / Mt Emei ( Baoguo temple / Wannian Temple )Hiking 3 hour
Take bus or train to Mt Emei, then we will begin our hiking from the Baoguo Temple. Arrive in Wannian Temple in the late afternoon. We will enjoy the beautiful mountains as well as the Baotuo Temple, Wannian Temple, Qingyingge pavilion and monkey kingdom. Night in local guest house.
D3 Emeishan Hiking ( Wannian Temple / Xixiangchi temple ) Hiking 5 hours
Today the hiking will turned out to be a bit difficult because of the deeper stage and longer trail. But the scenes will be more beautiful and quiet. We will enjoy the Xianfeng temple, 99 Bends, etc. Arrive in Xixiangchi in the late afternoon. Night in local guest house.
D4 Emeishan Hiking ( Xixiangchi /Golden Summit / Baoguo temple )Hiking 5 Hours
Today we will continue our last hiking. We will cross the high altitude virgin forest and arrive at the summit of Mt Emei , Jinding. Here we will enjoy both the huge golden Buddha and cloudy sea. Descend the mountain in the afternoon by cable car and bus. Enjoy the comfortable spring(optional, 100RMB/person)in the evening to wash away our tiresome. Night in local hotel.
D5 Mt Emei / Leshan / Chengdu
In the morning we will take private car to Leshan. Here the largest Stone Statue of Buddha in the world sits in the turbulent joint of three rivers. We will make a river cruise to enjoy the wonder of “Mountain is a sleeping Buddha and Stone Buddha sits in its heart “. Drive back Chengdu in the late afternoon. And you can transfer to other cities in the evening. END

1. The accommodation. One night 3 star hotel in Chengdu, one night 3 star hotel in Emeishan, and 2 nights in local guest house. or temple during the hiking.

3. The transportation between Chengdu and Emeishan. From Chengdu to Emeishan will be taxi and long distance bus, from Emeishan to Leshan and back Chengdu will be private car.

Not included :
1. The porters in Emeishan. Because we will stay in local temples, so we don't need too much gear, therefore the porters are unnecessary. But you do need a porter; there will be extra charge for it.
2. The tip to guide.
3. Meals. You can choose local meals and pay for it accordingly.
4. Your medicinal cost due to your own health condition.
5. Any of other service we have not included.
