Qinling Wildlife Zoo
Located at the food of northern Qinling Mountain, 28 kilometers away from Xian City, the Qinling Wildlife Park is the biggest wildlife park in Northwest China, with a total area of over 133 hectares. In the park, there are more than 10,000 rare wild animals from over 300 species. The Qinling Wildlife Park consists of four parts: the sightseeing area, the vegetarian area, the predator area and the bird area.
The sightseeing area, with a total floor space of 130,000 square meters, houses over 8,000 animals that belong to 260 species including giant pandas, lesser pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, Bengal tigers, kangaroos, elephants, sea lions, sea dogs, hippos, white tigers and various kinds of rare birds.
In the vegetarian area, there are various kinds of vegetarian animals from different regions around the world, such as the white-lipped deer living only in China, the rare Himalayan tahr living only in the southern region at the foot of Mountain Himalaya; the zebra, gnu, antelope from Africa and so on.
The predator area is located in the southern part of the Qinling Wildlife Park. Visitors can appreciate the beasts of prey in very close distance, which will be very exciting and of course the visitors’ security can be

Covering an area of 55 mu, the bird area is the first place in northwest China especial for birds. There are more than 6,000 birds that belong to 151 species, which is the largest habitat with the most species of birds.

Opening hours: 08:30~18:00 during April 1st to October 31st; 09:00~17:00 during November 1st to March 31st
