Baoji China Bronze Museum
The Baoji Bronze Museum, also named China Bronze Museum, located in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, sits at the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains and the southern bank of the Wei River. As a national first-class museum dedicated to collecting, researching, and exhibiting bronze artifacts from the Zhou Dynasty and Qin dynasty periods, it spans 34,800 square meters with 15,000 square meters dedicated to exhibition halls. The collection comprises over 487,000 cultural relics, including more than 120 first-class items such as the He Zun, Zhegong, Liwang Hu Gui, Qiangpan, and Qin Gong Bo—artifacts prohibited from leaving the country.

Exhibition Halls Introduction:

Exhibition Hall I:  The Land of Bronze Artifacts
As the birthplace of Chinese bronze culture, Baoji is renowned for its abundant hoards. This hall showcases 260 artifacts from 606 square meters of exhibition space, highlighting the city's bronze heritage through three key aspects: "vast quantity,"  "ancient history," and "exquisite inscriptions." The display comprehensively explains how Baoji earned its reputation as the "Land of Bronze Artifacts."

Exhibition Hall II:  Zhou Dynasty Rituals
The cultural essence of the Zhou Dynasty lies in its ritual system. This hall traces and interprets Zhou rituals through an exploration of bronze tree motifs symbolizing the clan system, clarifying the concepts of major and minor lineages within the patriarchal framework. Spanning 947 square meters, it displays 688 artifacts. Organized into square panels centered around Western Zhou palaces, the exhibition showcases the establishment of Western Zhou and various aspects of Zhou rituals. Treasures like the Li Wang Hu Gui, Qiang Pan, and He Zun are scattered throughout, blending reality with imagination to depict the mainstream social life under Duke Zhou's ritual system—feasting with bells and tripods, and hierarchical order.

Exhibition Hall III:  The Road of Empire
This hall traces the decline and eastward migration of the Zhou royal family, while showcasing the rise of the Qin Empire. Spanning 947 square meters, it displays 360 artifacts. Beginning with the twilight of Western Zhou, it sequentially presents historical milestones: Feizi breeding horse, Qin Xianggong's state establishment, Qin Wengong hunting eastward, Qin Wugong creating county, Qin Xuangong carving stone, Qin Mugong's hegemony, and Qin Shihuang crowned as the First Emperor. Through the waxing and waning of two ethnic groups, visitors experience a journey of national historical rise and fall. The highlight is the Qin Gong Bo, which illustrates the prosperity of the Qin royal family and highlights the gradual rise of Qin aristocracy, showcasing a pivotal moment in Qin's "Path of Empire."

Exhibition Hall IV:  The Light of Wisdom.
Designed to showcase bronze artifacts, this 606-square-meter space features concentric circular partitions symbolizing layered cultural heritage. The exhibition logically organizes 160 artifacts through static displays, interactive digital interfaces, and immersive workshops. Its dynamic multimedia systems and engaging interactive installations vividly demonstrate the complete bronze production process—from mold-making and pattern-casting to casting and artifact completion. Special highlights include the Bronze Animal Series and the national treasure Zhegong (a ritual wine vessel), highlighting the unique artistic charm of bronze craftsmanship and cultural symbolism.
