Huangshi Zhai Village is one of the five scenic tourist lines in Zhangjiajie scenic spots. It is said that the Han Dynasty Mr. Zhang Liang saw through the world of mortals, resigned from the offical post, and followed his master Hongsongzi to travel in the country leisurely. When he was visiting Zhangjiajie, he was besieged by local officers and soldiers. And the master Huangshi Gong rescued him, so here was named Huangshi Zhai Village.
Huangshi Village, also because the whole mountain looked like a brave lion, also known as the Yellow lion village. Its main tour points are: six strange pavilion, star platform, fog sea turtle, Tianshu treasure box, bridge pier, monkey handsome soldiers, South Tianmen, black fir Nao.
Huangshi Village is more than 1200 meters above sea level, with an area surrounded by knife-cut cliffs. It is the best and largest viewing platform overlooking the sandstone peak forest landscape, and also the best place to watch the sunrise. Huangshi zhai Village is the most concentrated place in Zhangjiajie, and also the largest sky viewing platform in Zhangjiajie.
The main scenic spots are: Arhat welcome guests, heavenly book treasure box, Dinghai magic needle, south day a pillar and so on.
You can take the cable car, or walk up the mountain.
