Zhangjiajie tour
Zhangjiajie city got its name from tourism. It is a key tourism city in China, with the world's rare quartz sandstone peak forest canyon landform. In 1984, Hu Yaobang, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, named the three scenic spots of Zhangjiajie, Suoxi yu and Tianzi Mountain as "Wulingyuan". Therefore, Zhangjiajie tourist area was also known as Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and later Yangjiajie was added. The scenic area covers an area of 264.6 square kilometers, and is one of China's first world natural Heritage sites, the world's first batch of national geoparks, and the first batch of national 5A tourist attractions."Soul of Wuling" Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, "World's Rare species Gene Bank" Badagong Mountain National Nature Reserve, Taoist holy land "South Wudang" Wulei Mountain, "Baili Gallery" Maoyan River, Wanfu Hot Spring and other scenic spots are also beautiful and unique scenery. In September 1982, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park became the first national forest park in China. Zhangjiajie city is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, which is just located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau uplift and Dongting Lake junction, between east longitude 109 degrees 40 to 111 degrees 20 points, north latitude 28 degrees 52 to 29 degrees 48 points. Zhangjiajie is connected to Shimen County and Taoyuan County in the east, Yuanling County in the south, and Hefeng County and Xuan'en County in Hubei Province in the north. The longest boundary of Zhangjia city is 167 kilometers from east to west, and the widest width is 96 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 9,653 square kilometers, accounting for 4.5% of the area of Hunan Province.
Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area
Zhangjiajie meaned by people actually is mainly Wulingyuan Scenic area, which is composed of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Yangjiajie New Scenic Spot, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve in Cili County and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve in Sangzhi County, with a total area of about 500 square kilometers.

Zhangjiajie unique quartz sandstone peak forest is rare at home and abroad. In the area of more than 360 square kilometers, there are more than 3,000 known peaks. Peaks are distributed at 500-1100 meters above sea level, the height varies from tens of meters to 400 meters. Zhangjiajie is also the water around the mountains. It is said that Zhangjiajie alone has "eight hundred rivers". Numerous waterfalls, springs, streams, pools and lakes are all at their best. Golden Whip Creek is a stream more than 10 kilometers long, from Zhangjiajie along the stream can be walked to the Suoxi valley, the two sides of the canyon confrontation, the landscape reflects the stream, unique flavor.
Zhangjiajie Karst caves are also a unique because of their large number, large scale, very rich characteristics. The main forms of Zhangjiajie are dissolved grain, dissolved mark, dissolved bucket, dissolved groove, stone bud, stone forest, through hole, depression, drowning hole, shaft, skylight, volt flow, underground river, karst spring, dissolved nest, dissolved trough, stone film, buried stone bud, funnel and so on. Zhangjiajie has a rare geological relics landscape. Its various shapes and forms contain the almost undisturbed original natural state of the ecological environment and ecosystem. Therefore, from the perspective of science and aesthetics, compared with the stone forest landform, Danxia landform and the Denver landform in the United States, Zhangjiajie is an extremely special and precious geological relic landscape in the world.
Zhangjiajie is very rich in plant resources. The forest coverage rate in the territory has reached 74.75%, and two virgin subforests are preserved, which is an important growth area of ancient relict organisms in China. There are more than 3,000 species of higher plants in the country, and the first 35 species of rare and endangered seed plants listed in the state protection are Davidia ducrata. Among the many plants, Wuling pine is the most widely distributed, with the largest quantity and the most strange form. It has the reputation of "Three thousand peaks in Wulingyuan and eighteen thousand pines".
Zhangjiajie has precious wild animals too. According to the investigation, there are 116 species of terrestrial vertebrates in 50 families, including 3 kinds of first-class protected animals and 10 kinds of second-class protected animals in the List of National Key protected Animals. In the Wulingyuan animal world, more are macaques, more than 300 according to preliminary observations. Local giant salamanders, called "giant salamander", are found in gullies, springs and deep pools.
The meteorological landscape of Zhangjiajie is also colorful. Wulingyuan spring, summer, autumn, winter, cloudy, sunny, morning, evening, the weather is myriad. Clouds and fog are the most common meteorological wonders in Wulingyuan, with five forms of clouds, cloud sea, cloud tao, cloud waterfall and cloud. After the rain, first fat hazy fog, then into white clouds, misty clouds, peaks in the boundless sea of clouds, such as Penglai Fairy Island, Yuyu Qiong Lou, place oneself in the meantime, floating, sometimes the sea of clouds rose over the peak, and then to the potential, flying, into a cloud waterfall, spectacular.

Tianzi Mountain Scenic Spot
Tianzi Mountain Scenic Spot is located in the north of Wulingyuan, along with Zhangjiajie and Suoxiyu, with a total area of 67 square kilometers. Tianzi Mountain is 1262.5 meters high (Kunlun Peak), and the lowest is 534 meters, with more than 40 kilometers. Tianzi Mountain Scenic Spot is named after the Tujia People’s leader Xiang Wang (named Dakun) at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty. Many scenic spots in the area are also related to this, such as Tianzi Island, Baojian Peak, Longji Rock and so on.
Yangjiajie Scenic Spot
In 1992, a new scenic area of Yangjiajie was discovered in the northwest corner of Zhangjiajie. The new scenic area covers a total area of 3,400 hectares. According to legend, the Yang family of the Northern Song Dynasty had set up camp in Tianzi Mountain. Later, because of the protracted war, the Yang family multiplied here, making it became the "Yang family". Today, Yangjiajie also contains the book of Yang Family Tree and the tomb of Yang Jia Zu in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and there are "Liulang Bay", "Qilang Bay", "Zongbao Bay", "Tianbo Fu" and other place names.
Suoxi Valley Scenic Spot
There are more than 2,000 peaks, 19 ravines and six streams. The main scenic spots are Shili Gallery, Yuanyang Waterfall, South Tianmen, Huanglong Cave and so on.
