Putuo Shan Mountain
Putuo Shan Mountain is located in the southern edge of Hangzhou Bay, Zhejiang Province, and the eastern sea of Zhoushan Islands group. It is about 6.7 kilometers long from north to south, about 2.3 kilometers wide from east to west, and 4.3 kilometers wide at its widest point, covering an area of 11.82 square kilometers. The highest peak, Fuding Mountain, is 286.3 meters above sea level, with a coastline circumference of about 22.5 kilometers.

Putuo Shan Mountain is one of the four famous Buddhist sacred mountains in China, the home of Guanyin Avalokitesvara, known as the "Buddha Kingdom in the Sea under Heaven" and "the holy land of the South China Sea". There are more than 40 temples in the whole mountain, and the largest are Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, Huiji Temple and Baotuo Lecture Temple. The largest landmark is the 33-meter-high Giant Nanhai Guanyin Buddha statue. Surrounded by the sea, Putuo Mountain is known as "the first quiet and quiet place on the earth".

There are three main scenic spots in Putuo Mountain: Puji Zen Temple (front Temple), Fayu Zen Temple (back Temple), and Huiji Zen Temple (Fuding Mountain Temple), which are called the three Zen temples of Putuo Mountain. They support the base home of Guanyin Avalokitesvara.
