Lingyin Temple, an ancient Chinese Buddhist temple, is located by the West Lake of Hangzhou city, 
Zhejiang Province. Lingyin Temple, backed by the north high peak and facing the Feilai Peak, was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (326 AD), covering an area of about 87,000 square meters. The founder of Lingyin Temple was monk Huili, a West Indian monk, and expanded by the Emperor Wudi in the Southern Dynasty.
