Your first stop is Huguangyan Scenic Area, a UNESCO Global Geopark and one of the world’s best-preserved maar volcanic lake landscapes. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, the tranquil lake was formed by volcanic activity and is an excellent place to learn about the region’s geological history. Take a leisurely walk around the scenic area and enjoy the peaceful combination of volcanic landforms, forest and water.
After lunch, continue to the Xiashan Seaview Corridor, a scenic waterfront promenade overlooking Zhanjiang Bay. Walk along the coastal path lined with palm trees and gardens, enjoy views across the bay, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this tropical seaside city.
