Itinerary 1: 5 Days Zhangjiajie / Fenghuang / Mt. Fanjingshan Natural Wonders Exploration
Day 1 Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Arrive in Zhangjiajie by direct flight or transfer from Changsha 
by bullet train, a natural labyrinth located in northwestern Hunan Province. In the afternoon you will set out on a half-day tour of Tianmen Shan Mountain (4-4.5 hours including a round-trip cable ride) - which is famous for the Tianmen Cave.

Day 2 Zhangjiajie Park Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day by traveling to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Today, you may firstly visit Tianzi Mountain Area (2 hours hiking) - boasts rocky peaks in grotesque shapes and shrouded in drifting mist. After that, taking the scenic shuttle bus to the restaurant to enjoy the lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue to have another hiking trip to visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (2 hours) - one of the must-see attractions in Zhangjiajie. You will also have the chance to experience the Bailong Elevator - the highest and heavily loaded outdoor elevator in the world. After the tour, return to the hotel and have a rest.
Day 3 Zhangjiajie - Fenghuang Driving 4 hrs 255kms
After breakfast at the hotel, drive about 20 minutes to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Start by taking a cable car to visit Huangshi Zhai Village (1 - 1.5 hour) - one of China’s top 5 must-visit spots.
After the tour, drive to the Fenghuang Ancient Town, known as “Phoenix Town”, a journey of about 5 hours. The Phoenix Town, built up in Qing Dynasty, is still kept in its original appearance with 300 years passed. The stone streets, stilted houses, and the Miao ethnic culture are the typical scenes here. In the evening, you may wander around the ancient town leisurely.
Day 4 Fenghuang - Mount Fanjing Driving 3 hrs 128Kms
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day by exploring the Fenghuang Ancient Town with a scenic boat along Tuo River, the mother river of the town, surrounded along by the stilted wooden houses and stone roads on both sides. When mist rises from the river, you will really find why it is so famous and popular all the time. Drift down to Hong Bridge. You might feel like being in a traditional Chinese painting of green hills, clear water, city wall and stilted houses. You will be guided around the ancient city including some other famous sites like the Former Residence of Sheng Congwen and the East Gate Tower, etc. In the afternoon, take a private transfer to Mount Fanjing (about 1.5hrs) and check into the hotel at the Mountain’s base. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Day 5 Mount Fanjing - Tongren Departure Driving 2.5 hrs 75Kms
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the entrance of Mount Fanjing Shan and begin your hike along the popular south trail. Take a sightseeing bus near the entrance for about 20mins to Yu’ao Station and be transferred by cable car for another 20mins, you may have a bird’s eye view of the prosperous green forest of Mount Fanjing. Start the hike from the Forest Hiking Road with 45mins up to the famous landmark Mushroom Stone. Continue to hike for about 30mins to the Old Golden Summit and walk up to its peak where you could appreciate the panorama of Mount Fanjing and the Red Clouds Golden Summit clearly from a distance.
After the tour, head to Tongren for overnight accommodation. If possible, you can transfer the bullet train of night to other destination over there.

Day 6 Kaili - Langde Miao Village - Guiyang
Begin your day by paying a leisurely visit to Langde and Datang Miao Village, where can explore the Miao people's history and culture. Langde is a village considered to be a live museum of the colorful Miao culture, also known as the Long Skirt Miao. We then after lunch continue our tour to Guiyang. Afterwards, drive to your hotel in Rongjiang.
Day 7 Guiyang Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, you can take train or flight to other cities, and you can also continue the tours to Huangguoshu Waterfall, etc.
