Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu today, make some city tours accordingly, such as the Ancient Jinli street, Kuanxiangzi,etc.
Day 2: Chengdu City Tour
Sichuan is the home of giant Pandas. Today, you will visit the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center with over 100 pandas in its garden. Here you can observe these lovely creatures eating and playing. In the afternoon you will head to the Leshan Giant Panda, which is the largest Buddha Statue in the world. Back to Chengdu in the late afternoon.
Day 3 Chengdu-Dazu-Chongqing
In morning you will take bullet train to Dazu, and here you will head for Dazu Buddhism rock carving, which is only about 2 hours’ driving from Chongqing. It was a kind of fashion for ancient Chinese people to build the rock carvings based on the Buddhism tales or locals, and Dazu Rock Carving groups are among the best reserved carvings in China. Many of the carving groups were found here, and the most famous are Baodingshan hill group.
Continue to Chongqing city in the late afternoon. Transfer to hotel.
Day 4: Chongqing City Tour
In the morning you will visit the hottest attraction Liziba station to watch the wonder of Metro travel through the apartment building. And then Chongqing People’s Great Hall.
In the afternoon you will head for Ciqikou Old Town, where you will see how Chongiqng like in its old time.
And then the symbol of Chongqing Hongyadong cave in the evening.
Day 5: Chongqing / Zhangjiajie
In the morning you will you will take 3 hours’ bullet train to Zhangjiajie.
In the afternoon you will head to the Tianmenshan, where you will take the longest cable car in the world. It is amazing to enjoy the beautiful mountain under your cable car, sometimes even the cloudy sea. And today you will visit the Tianmen Cave, Tianmenshan Temple, Tianmenshan Square, etc. And trying walk on the glass trail built on the high peaks is also a challenge to you. Descend the mountain by elevator in the afternoon
Day 6: Zhangjiajie National Park
In the morning head to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Park, also named as Wulingyuan Park. You will arrive at Bailong Sky Elevator, and ascend Yuanjiajie, where you will walk on the mountain trails to enjoy many beautiful peaks, including Avatar. And then you will head to Yangjiajie spot, continue to enjoy the beautiful peaks including the Peak Wall.
In the afternoon you will head to the Sky Garden, where is the magic garden built on the top of a high peak. And then you will continue to Tianzhishan, where you will enjoy some smaller peaks. You will descend the mountain by cable car and then head to Ten Miles Picturesque Corridor, which is a beautiful valley at the feet of the peaks. Taking a one way small train riding and hiking back would be interesting.
At last you will back to your hotel for rest.
Day 7: Zhangjiajie National Park and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Tour
Today you will continue to visit the huge Zhangjiajie National Park. In the morning you will ascend Huangshizhai spot by cable car. It is said people have not visited Zhangjiajie really if he has not been to Huangshizhai. If weather allowed, you can enjoy the magic scene of peaks surrounded by smog.
Descend Huangshizhai, and then you will visit Golden Whip Brook to enjoy the most beautiful gorge and brook.
In the afternoon you will continue to explore Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where you will enjoy the beauty of Karst style mountain in another side. The highlight will be the famous 400 meters high, 370 meters long Glass Bridge, which is the highest glass bridge in the world. .
Back your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 8: Zhangjiajie Departure
After breakfast send you to airport / railway station, where you can continue to Changsha, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. End of the tour.
