D1 Arrive in Urumqi
Arrive in the capital of Xinjiang Ulghur Autonomous Administration region, Urumqi today. Meet with your tour guide in Urumqi, and then you can do some city tours accordingly, such as Erdaoqiao International Bazaar, which is said to be the largest in Xinjiang.
D2 Urumqi- Turpan
Go to Turpan by bullet train in the morning, and then you will visit the ruins of ancient Gaochang town and Jiaohe old town, through the ruin, you can trace their prosperity in ancient silk-road during their glorious time.
In the late afternoon you will drop a tour in Kaner Well, which is a magic river channcel underground.
D3 Turpan- Kuqa
As the hottest city in China, Flame hill is a hot tour spot in Turpan. You will visit the Flame Hill in the morning. Fly to Kuqa in the late afternoon. And then transfer to hotel for rest.
D4 Kuqa / Kashgar
Kuqa used to be a prosperous Buddhism kingdom in silk road 1000 years ago before occupation of Islam. So today you will head to Kergil Frestco to explore its former glory through these marvellous fresco, and then you will drop a tour in the ruin of Subasi Temple. The ruin of temple will tell you its prosperity 1000 years ago.
Fly to Kashgar in the evening. Transfer to hotel for night.
D5 Kashgar City Tour
Kashgar is the largest city in Southern Xinjiang, and also important culture and economy center in mid Asia. You will experience the formal Openning Ceremony of Kashgar Old Town in the morning, where you will enjoy the Ulghur songs and dances.
And then you will explore the huge Kashgar old town, which will show you the glorous history and culture of Kashgar and Ulghur people too. And Itigar Mosque near by is the largest Mosque in Southern Xinjiang, you will also drop a visit there.
The tomb of Yushupu, or Fragrant Comcubine tomb garden is also interesting, you will also have an exploration in it in the afternoon.
D6 Kashgar - Baisha Lake - Kashgar
In the morning you will head to Baisha hu lake on Pamir plateau, enjoy the beautiful sand lake, and back Kashgar in the afternoon.
D7 Kashgar Departure
Fly to other city in the morning.
