D1 Lanzhou – Xiahe 232Km Driving 3 hrs
Arrive in Lanzhou at noon, and then drive to Xiahe city in the afternoon. Free to explore this Tibetan city in the evening.
D2 Xiahe – Tongren 103Kms, Driving 2 hrs
Visit the great Tibetan Monastery of Labrang in the morning, which is one of the largest Tibetan monastery of Gelupa school. And then drop a visit in the wide Sangke grassland.
And then head to Tongren in Qinghai province, enjoy the grassland and mountain en route.
D3 Tongren – Haidong 158Kms, Driving 2 hrs
Tongren is rich in Tibetan monastery culture. The upper and down Wutun Monastery in Tongren will unfold the Tibetan culture for you. In the late afternoon head to Haidong city.
D4 Haidong - Wuwei 256Kms, Driving 4 hrs
Drive to Wuwei city of Gansu province. Enjoy the Gobi Desert and Hexi Corridor folklore en route.
Arrive in Wuwei in the afternoon, and then drop a visit in Leitaihanmu Tomb, which is the place discovered the symbol of Chinese Tourism flying horse on the swallow.
D5 Wuwei - Zhangye - Linze 305Kms Driving 4 hrs
In the morning you will head to Zhangye in about 3 hours, and there you will drop a visit in the Big Buddha Temple.
In the afternoon you will head to Qicaidanxia GEO park, where you will enjoy the collorful Danxia landa form. Twilight is the best time to enjoy this red land.
And then you will head to Linze city for night.
D6 Linze – Jiayuguan - Dunhuang 560Kms, Driving 6 hrs
Head to Jiayuguan in the morning, and then you will drop a visit in Jiayuguan Gate, which used to be the border of China with West land. Enjoy the ruin of great wall and Gebi desert en route.
Arrive in Dunhuang in the late afternoon.
D7 Dunhuang Tour
As the most famous cultural center on Silk road, Dunhuang left a lot of relics for tourist. In the morning you will visit mysterious Mogao Grottoes,which will show you the marvellous fresco 1000 years ago.
And then you will visit the Mingsha Shan Mountain and the Moon Lake, where you can enjoy the pleasure of desert mountain and camel riding.
You can free to explore the crowded night market in the evening.
D8 Dunhuang departure
Departure Dunhuang by air or train.
Arrive in Lanzhou at noon, and then drive to Xiahe city in the afternoon. Free to explore this Tibetan city in the evening.
