Day 1: Guiyang – Wujiangzhai Village

 

In the morning, your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Guiyang and drive you to Wujiangzhai Village, a beautiful traditional village surrounded by mountains and the Wujiang River. The drive is approximately 130 km and takes around 1.5–2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

 

Upon arrival, check in at your local-style guesthouse and enjoy some free time to explore Wujiangzhai at your own pace. Take a relaxing walk through the village, admire the traditional wooden buildings, and enjoy the peaceful scenery along the river.

 

The most exciting part of the visit comes in the evening, when Wujiangzhai takes on a lively and atmospheric character. You can watch traditional ethnic minority singing and dancing performances and enjoy the colorful evening light shows. On selected evenings, drone shows may also be presented above the village, creating an impressive nighttime spectacle.

 

After the performances, you can find a local bar, enjoy a drink, and relax while taking in the peaceful evening atmosphere of Wujiangzhai.

Day 2: Wujiangzhai – Hailongtun Fortress – Guiyang

 

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Wujiangzhai and take some time to appreciate the beautiful mountain and riverside scenery before leaving the village.

 

Your guide will then drive you to Hailongtun Fortress, an impressive ancient military fortress hidden deep in the mountains of Guizhou. Hailongtun is part of the Tusi Sites of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that reflects the history and culture of the Tusi system in southwestern China.

 

Upon arrival, you will follow the mountain trails and spend several hours hiking through the ruins of the ancient fortress. Along the way, you can see ancient stone walls, gates, pathways, and other remains of the former military stronghold, while enjoying the surrounding mountain scenery.

 

The hike involves some uphill sections and uneven paths, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

 

In the late afternoon, drive back to Guiyang, which takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Guiyang, your 2-day Guizhou tour comes to an end.

2. Guide. An English speaking guide will be provided, who will accompany you from the start of tour to end of tour.

3. Private Transfers during tour. Our guide and driver will pick-up you at your hotel on time and drop-off you after the tours. And an air-conditioned vehicle will be provided during the tour.

4. Hotel. Provide 1 night’s hotel, 4 star level hotels. Every two people share one room.

5. Service Charge & Government Taxes.

6. 4 meals, lunched and dinners.
