As the most known tour city, Guilin should contribute its fame mostly to the picturesque
Li River and Karst peaks around it. The 54 kms Li River flows in the general southern direction through Guilin to Yangshuo and Pingle, covers hundreds and thousands of grotesque peaks. And Yangshuo is surrounded by Karst peaks. Two main roads run away from the water and form the central part of the town, Chinese Street and West Street. Day 1: Guilin Arrival / Reed Flute Cave / Fubo Hill
Meals: Lunch
Arrive in Guilin by flight or train in the morning, where your local tour guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Reed Flute Cave, one of Guilin’s most famous natural attractions. Known for its spectacular karst formations, the cave is often described as a “natural art palace.” Inside, you will see fascinating stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone flowers in a variety of shapes and sizes. Illuminated by colorful lights, these remarkable formations create an enchanting underground landscape.
If time permits, continue to Fubo Hill, another well-known landmark in Guilin. The hill offers beautiful views of the city and the Li River, while its caves and historic rock carvings provide an interesting glimpse into Guilin’s cultural heritage.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 2: Guilin / Li River Cruise / Yangshuo
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the pier to board the boat for the famous Li River Cruise.
The cruise takes approximately five hours and is one of the highlights of any Guilin and Yangshuo tour. As you cruise downstream, enjoy the tranquil waters of the Li River and the spectacular karst scenery along its banks. Towering limestone peaks, lush green hills, bamboo groves, and peaceful villages create the classic landscape that has inspired generations of Chinese artists and poets.
Lunch will be served on board during the cruise.
In the afternoon, arrive in Yangshuo, a picturesque town surrounded by dramatic karst peaks and peaceful countryside. After disembarking, explore the famous Yangshuo West Street, where you can stroll through the lively pedestrian area, browse local shops, or relax in one of the many cafés and bars.

Optional Program:
In the evening, you may choose to watch the spectacular Impression Liu Sanjie outdoor performance. The show combines music, singing, dancing, and impressive stage effects with the natural scenery of the Li River. If you would like to attend, it is recommended that you arrange the tickets with your guide in advance.
Day 3: Yangshuo Countryside Cycling / Moon Hill / Elephant Trunk Hill / Departure
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning, continue exploring the beautiful countryside around Yangshuo. We recommend a few hours of countryside cycling through the picturesque rural landscape.
Cycle toward the peaceful Yulong River, where you can ride along the river and enjoy views of green hills, bamboo groves, rice fields, and traditional villages. The quiet countryside provides a wonderful contrast to the lively atmosphere of Yangshuo West Street.
Continue to Moon Hill, one of Yangshuo’s most distinctive natural landmarks. If you wish, hike up the trail to the viewing area and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding karst countryside.
After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or a farmhouse-style restaurant near the foot of Moon Hill, giving you a chance to experience some authentic local flavors.
In the afternoon, drive back toward Guilin. En route, stop at Elephant Trunk Hill, located near the confluence of the Li River and Peach Blossom River. Resembling an elephant drinking from the river, this distinctive limestone hill has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Guilin and frequently appears in images of the city.
In the late afternoon, your guide will transfer you to Guilin Airport or railway station for your onward journey. Your Guilin and Yangshuo tour ends here.
Optional Program:
You may also choose to enjoy a Yulong River bamboo rafting experience instead of, or in addition to, part of the cycling activity. Sit back on a traditional bamboo raft and enjoy the peaceful river scenery and dramatic karst peaks along the Yulong River. The rafting fee is at your own expense.
