Day 01 Hotel - Dujiangyyan Panda Garden(Lunch)
Your Chengdu tour starts in the early morning today, the guide from Chinaexploration will pick up you at your hotel, and then head for the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Garden, it is about 2 hours’ driving, you will arrive at the garden, and then start the panda volunteer works with local staffs. An experienced staff of Garden will guide you for today’s work, such as cleaning the rooms for panda, preparing food, feeding pandas, etc.
The crew may teach you how to cook for panda, how to clean the room and garden, and how to give panda treatment when they are ill. What to do exactly today is up to the need of local panda garden. Serving for the pandas might be a dirty and boring work, but just think it is an unique and honorable work for panda, could be done no where in the world! In the late afternoon, get out of the park, after dinner, transfer to hotel.
Day 02 Xiba Bancurd Banquet - Leshan Giant Buddha Tour (Lunch)
You will drive to Leshan city in about 2 hours on the express way. The wide spreading landscape of Chengdu Plain will not make the tour boring. Bean curd is one of the most popular foods in China, and today you have the chance to try the famous Xiba bean curd meal. In the afternoon your tour guide will show you the wonder of Leshan Gaint Buddha, which explained the saying of ‘ Buddha is the hill and the hill is a Buddha ‘. And then we will walk up and down along the zigzagging mountain trails along the Giant Buddha, from it is head to shoulder, and from leg to foot. In front of the Buddha is the good view of the joint of Minjiang River, Dadu River and Qingyi River. Drive back Chengdu in the late afternoon.
Day 03 Mt Qingchengshan - Dujiangyan Irrigation Dam (Lunch)
Your Chengdu tour starts in the early morning today, the guide from Chinaexploration will pick up you from your hotel and then head for Qingchengshan Mountain in 1 hour’s driving. You will enjoy the beautiful Chengdu plain and villages en route. Arrive in Mt Qingchengshan, take cable car up the mountain very quickly, and then you will hike up about 30 minutes’ to the Summit of Mt Qingchengshan, Shangqinggong Palace. Here you will have a bird’s eye view of Mt Qingchengshan. It is almost a water color picture, and the most beautiful scene will be waving mountains hiding in the light fog. And then you will make a mild hiking tours down the mountain from the zigzag mountain trails. It will be a happy hiking tour. Just enjoy the beautiful nature and breath the clear air with light sweat! Heaven Master Cave will be the most important palace in Mt Qingchengshan, where you will admire the huge and old Ginko tree, which is said to be planted by Master Zhangdaoling 2000 years ago, and you can also learn about the harmony theory of Taoism, which is very polular in Europe now!
Then it is just time for lunch, Chinaexploration would like to arrange your lunch at the restaurant of the temple, it is a simple Chinese lunch. After you descend the mountain in the afternoon, with 20 minutes’ driving, you will arrive in Duanjiangyan Dam. As the most famous ancient Chinese Dam, Dujiangyan is still in function. You will learn about how ancient China made full use of local landscape and built this great project. In the late afternoon, you will return Chengdu from express way in 1 hour’s driving. Your travel guide will send you back hotel, and your Chengdu tour will be finished with sweet memory.
Day 04 Sanxingdui Museum(Lunch )
Your guide will take you to Sanxingdui ruins, a ruined city with a history of over 3000 years. Arrive in the Museum, and then you will travel in the huge hall of Museum, in which thousands of pieces of invaluable relics are waiting for you, such as bronze ware, jade ware, gold ware, pottery, and bone ware unearthed respectively. It is a good chance to learn about the civilization of upper Yangtze drainage. In the late afternoon, your guide will send you back your hotel, and your Chengdu tour will be finished with sweet memory.
Day 05 Chengdu - Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou (Lunch)
Your Chengdu tour starts from Chengdu today, the guide from China Tour Special will send you to Shuangliu airport, and then you will fly to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong Airport, meet another guide there. It is a flight of 50 minutes only, but you will move from sea level 500 meters of Chengdu to 3448 meters of Huanglong airport, don’t worry for it, most of the people can be acclimated very quickly, and if you do feel difficult, you can buy some oxygen to deal with. Normally your tour guide will take you to Huanglong nation park directly, which is about 40 minutes’ driving in mountain road from airport to Huanglong.
Lunch will be arranged either at airport or foot of Huanglong mountain accordingly, depending on the arrival time. After the lunch, you will start a hiking tour of 4 hours, 2 hours up and 2 hours down, and hiking from gate of 3070 meters to Huanglong Monastery of 3558 meters, and then return. If you think it may be too tired for you, you can take cable car by extra payment of RMB120 there. Just enjoy the beautiful alphine mountain forest and collorful calcified lakes en route. And eventually you will arrive at the Wucaichi Lake. After you descend the mountain, you will head for Zhangza town close to Jiuzhaigou valley in about 2 hour’s driving, mountain and Tibetan villages will be the view accompanying you. And have a good sleep in hotel today.
Day 06 Jiuzhaigou Excursion (Lunch)
Get up in the early morning today, and then go to the gate of Jiuzhaigou National park with your guide. There you will board local environment protecting bus to visit the long valleys. The Y-shapted Jiuzhaigou valley actually are consisted of 3 long valleys: Shuzheng valley, Rize valley and Zezha valley. In each of the valley, many beautiful lakes, waterfalls, rivers and virgin forest are scattered. Local Tibetan granted each of them romandic names, such as Panda Sea, Pearl Sea, Long Sea, etc, and these lakes shining like jade, pearl in the mountain and forest. Jiuzhaiogou valley could be the best gift from our nature, and it deserves the fame of Fairy Land on the earth!
China Tour Special always wanted to introduce unique local culture to our clients, besides beautiful nature, there are also nine Tibet villages in the valley for your visit. Your guide will give you a lecture of Tibetan culture . You will travel the 3 valleys one by one with the sightseeing bus, enjoying the interesting tales about the villages and lakes. And a simple buffet lunch will be arranged in Lorilang restaurant. In the late afternoon you will exit the valleys and return hotel for dinner.
Day 07 Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu
Today you will say good bye to beautiful Jiuzhaigou valley. Your guide will send you to Huanglong airport by 2 hour’s driving, and you will arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu airport again, and your tour is finished.
