Samye Monastery is the first monastery in Tibet, built between 775 AD and 779 A.D. It's a building influenced by Tibetan, Chinese Han and Indian styles. In Tibet trekking tours, trekking from Lhasa to Ganden is becoming populous due to the pretty landscape en route as well as the important means crossing two Tibetan culture centers.
In this expedition, it is a tough walk crossing two high passes through a remote region. We will take a little more time acclimatizing in Lhasa and Ganden before we start out on this trek, and the best time for the walk is from the middle of May to the Middle of October . The summer months can be wet but the mountains are at their greenest and wildflowers spindle the alpine meadows.

D1 Arrive in Lhasa
D2-3 Lhasa Tour
We will use 2 days to be accustomed to the plateau climate though the city tours, such as the Potala Palace, Jorkang Temple, Sera Monastery and Zebang Monastery.
D4 Lhasa / Ganden Monastery An hour's drive out of Lhasa will take us to Ganden Monastery (3,800 m/12,467 ft.), which was founded in 1409 by Je Tsongkapa, the founder of the Gelupka (Yellow Hat) sect. We'll visit the monastery and after lunch drive another hour to start our 3-hour hike. Camp.
D5-8 Hiking From Ganden to Samye Monastery We will take 4 days to trek from Gandan Monastery to Samye Monastery via Shulu La Mountain, and Lungo. Arrive in Samye Monastery in Day 8.
D9 Samye / Tesdang Trekking from Samye to Cing buk, and then take car to Tesdang. Night in hotel.
D10 Tsetang-Airport Today we will drive to Airport and fly away Tibet. END.
