Fangchenggang,a beautiful city Located in the south of Guangxi province, It lies along the southwest end of China's continental coastline. It links Qinzhou and Nanning, and Vietnam. Dating back to the Neolithic Age, humanity started to live in this beautiful land. After Qin Shihuang unifying the whole China in 221BC, it belonged to Xiangjun Shire. Then, The name of 'Fangcheng' firstly appeared the Song Dynasty . Later in the Qing Dynasty, Fangcheng County was set up under the control of Guangdong province. In 1985, Fangcheng District was formed in Guangxi and later in 1993, it was changed into a prefecture-level city.
Climate: This city belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone with the annual average temperature of 22C. Due to its special location,it is usually attacked by typhoon from June to September.Physical Features: Mountains, hills and terraced land interlace in Fangchenggang. Hills lie in its south and north and are in the middle. Its southeast is mainly harbors off the Beibuwan Bay.
Best time to Go: You can visit the city all year around due to the warm and humid climate. May to October is the best period anyway. You should check the weather if you want to go there from June to September because it is when typhoon frequently happens.
