Detian Waterfall
Detian Waterfall is located in Detian Village, Shuolong Town, Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the upper reaches of Guichun River, about 50 meters away from the boundary monument 53 along the China-Vietnam border, and connected with the adjacent Vietnam Banyue Waterfall ("Ban Gioc & Đuc Thien"). The clear Guichun River is a tributary of the Zuojiang River and a border river of the China-Vietnam border.
Detian Waterfall is its masterpiece when it flows through Putang Island. The mighty Guichun River water, from the north, Putang Island with high cliffs, towering, cross the river flow, the river water from more than 50 meters down, crashed on the stone, splashing, rising fogy and misty water. The waterfall falls in three stages, the maximum width of more than 200 meters, the depth of more than 60 meters, the drop of more than 70 meters, the average annual flow of 50 cubic meters / second, the local geology is thick stratified dolomite. It is the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia, and it is designated as a special scenic spot by the country. It is connected with the Panyo Waterfall in Vietnam, like two close sisters. The villagers of Chinese and Vietnamese border in the downstream of the waterfall, are doing border trade exchanges.
