Every day, hundreds of famous brand vehicles run on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway which becomes one of the most popular traffic routes in China.

With the rapid development of tourism industry, self-organized expedition (take a tour by driving their own cares) becomes a fashion among tourists at home and abroad. In March, a self-organized expedition activity along Sichuan-Tibet Highway launched by main medias in China kicked off in Ya'an of Sichuan province, aiming to create a platform for self-organized expedition enthusiasts.

Nyingchi, Chamdo and other prefectures in Tibet are making efforts to improve the infrastructures for self-organized expeditions to boost the development of self-organized expedition, to build up a new framework for driving tour service, and to create a safe and reassuring driving tour circumstance for tourists.
