The Horse Racing Festival from August 1st to 7th is the most celebrated holiday in the Eastern Tibetan Plateau. D1 July 29th Arrive in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu and check in the hotel. Meet with our tour leader in the evening. Free to explore the ancient city of Chengdu accordingly.Night in hotel .

D2 July 30th Chengdu / Kangding / Xinduqiao ( Driving 8hrs )
In the morning we will drive to Tibetan plateau via Ya’an, Luding and Kangding. Enjoy the longest high way tunnel of Mt Erlang, listen the history of Chinese revolution on the witness of Long March in Luding Bridge, and climb over Mt Zeduo( 4200m ). Arrive in beautiful Xinduqiao village in the night. Night in local Tibetan guest house. ( B,L,D)
D3 July 31th Xinduqiao / Tagong / Litang (Driving 5 hrs )
Today we will drive in the corridor or picture due to the beautiful view of Tibetan plateau. Xinduqiao village is reputed as corridor of Photo. And we will also enjoy the beautiful Tagong Grassland and Mt Yala. The Tagong monastery is worth of a visit. In the afternoon we will drive to Litang via a few high mountain above 4000 meter. In the late afternoon we will arrive in Litang ( 4000m ). Night in local Tibetan Guest house. ( B,L,D)

D6 Aug. 3rd, Litang / Xiangcheng ( Driving 5hrs )
Today we will say good bye to the grand horse racing festival and continues our driving to the Tibetan plateau. We will continue to drive across 2 high mountain around 4700 meters in sea level. And arrive in Xiangcheng in the afternoon. We will explore 1 small monastery of Benbo ( Red Section ) en route. Night in hotel. ( B,L,D )
D7 Aug4th Xiangcheng / Shangri-la ( Driving 5 hrs )
Today we will head to the Shangri-la County in Yunnan province. The Tibetan villages , snow mountains will not make the travel boring. In the late afternoon we will arrive in Shangri-la town. Shangri-la was said to be the ideal residence of human being in Tibetan Buddhism Scripture, where human being , animal , nature liver in harmony under the rule of Tibetan Monastery . Night in hotel . In the morning we will explore the famous Yellow School of Songtanlin Monastery , then drive to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is in the upper reach of Yangtze , it shows terrible fierce compared with the middle and lower reach of Yangze. Under the deep gorges, the turbulent water rush down from the upper stage and hit the rocks, making voice of thunders. In the late afternoon we will arrive in the world famous city of Lijiang . We will explore the old house of American adventurer Mr. Rock Joseph. Then we will enjoy the exquisiteness of the Black Dragon Park. Then free to explore the old town of Lijiang. You can bargain in the bazaar of Square street , drink beer in the small bars along the river , hiking in the old streets … Night in Naxi Style hotel with beautiful yard.
