From August 15, 2010, Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd. in southwest of China is going to add one flight from Chongqing to Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR). Thus altogether seven flights Chongqing-Lhasa will be available to passengers, sources from Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd.
The newly-added Flight CZ3747/8 will run every day by aircraft Airbus 319 on China Southern Airlines.
It takes off from Chongqing at 9:00 am and lands in Lhasa at 11:10 am, and then it departs from Lhasa at 12 pm and arrives in Chongqing at 2:10 pm.
As the number of flights to Lhasa is increaing, the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has become a civil aviation channel to TAR for tourists from home and abroad, second only to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport.
